First of all I'll be writing in english as I understand nothing in your language but it seemed to be one of biggest 3l forums.
My name is Paul, I'm 30 yo and I live in Poland.
I've just bought my 1st lupo 3l. I'm a car guy, engine swaps, tuning etc are quite common in my house
I want to make it as 2nd or 3rd car in family among cars that consume 8-20l/100km I guess I'll get used to it.
It has some problems I will work on after I'm back from holiday in Sweden.
It had some minor accident in past as front left fender and bonnet corner are damaged and fixed cheaply+ bumper is moved a little bit to the right.
The ABS light is on together with (!) blinking.
Main problem is it won't always go into first without little "fingering" if you help it it will switch rest of gears ok.
Car was bought for 550Euro

You're not the first Polish 3L afficionado on the forum, don't worry.

We have a very extensive technical section in the how to section, please have a read.

Diagnostics with the 3L always start with VagCom OBD. do you have these?

Only car with simmilar gearbox to lupo I had was Smart F2, was very happy with it.

The official cable works best... But I've heard a cheap knock off will do the trick as you don't need a version higher than 11 or 12'

Update after 15months of ownership.
We are 30k km more now, 3 oil changes past.
Really happy with the car.
What I did to it after I bought it.
-VAgcom diagnose and gearbox calibration,
-new tyres,
-new timing belt set, plus auxillary belt,
-sealed rocker cover-still leaking badly,
-changed left front wheel bearing,
-my wife had some encounter with a deer (luckily it was 20kph) so I had to change additional high beam lights, right hand light level motor, and changed headlights to depo aftermarket ones I bought off scrap yard for 10€ because oem were smokey from the inside, Update after 15months of ownership.

Ok, so we are past 45k km since I bought it.
Just bought another 3L for parts. Missing 3rd and 4th Gear but it came 100km on it's own Wheels shifting from 2nd to 5th
Bought it for 150€.
Did 1300km journey in my and filling it full I can make 1300-1400km in one tank with consumption around 2,9l/100km.
2adults, one kid and luggage. I could still put more inside, so car wasn't full.
Winter tyres 3.0bar.
Still Looking for this Thule set. I was told that VW passat b5 sedan kit should work as an exhange. Can anyone confirm that?
