So I have replaced the fuel sender... there is no lift pump in a 3L

The old one was not very nice!



Now I think that I must re-calibrate the fuel gauge but I think that I have to empty the tank to do it...

I drove around with the replacement unit fitted without problems so I hope that this has fixed the problem.

As I told you, this is the tandempump on the engine that does this

You can recalibrate the instruments panel by OBD, this is just minor adjustments and I don't know how exactly to do it.

The only thing you need is a KKL cable (OBD) and a working VAGCOM on your laptop.
