I still think your G81 wireloom is broken. If zo it will be broken at a very specific location.

Please open the bonnet
look between hydraulic pump and fuel temp sender
there is a big wireloom (25mm dia) which has a black plastic T-style join
there is a thin loom exiting the big loom at the T-section, it wil be broken right there.

Solution: strip cable and resolder. Maybe place extra cable if it is too short. Then erase faults in engine computer with Vagcom and testdrive.

Ok, this is the protective t-piece around the wiring.


The 2 wires in the silver tape (I know, looks like crap) is where the wire was broken.
